Fishtaxi- I think Tony wants your engine control box in you engine room. It is the white box with large red and green buttons on it for engine start and stop. You should have two- one for each engine.

My Tides Strong Seal are both run off a 0.25 inch line right off the raw water pump (impeller). There is a small plug to the left of the impeller cover. At least on my boat that leaves the other pump on the port engine for a project like you are discussing.

My QSB 6.7 380 hp run between 167 and 170 at 3050 rpm in the PNW. Water between 50 and 75. Ambient 40 to 85 air temp.

Serviced mine with 4 season and 300 hours. 2013 QSB 6.7. Fresh water moored so basically fresh water flushed. Pull the hoses to you aftercoolers, trans cooler and heat exchangers and look to see condition. For your aftercoolers, earlier ones had plastic end caps. No good. Must switch those out. Service them and install a fresh water flush.

+1 on the compromised head gasket. BTW, what did you pick up? Did you get an over temperature alarm?
