ZF transmission low oil pressure

One of my ZF tranny’s is showing low oil pressure of 100-150 psi. I have switched sensors and gauges and the results are the same. i am in the process of getting a mechanical gauge to confirm the pressure. Assuming the pressure is low, what is the next best step?

The manual suggests cleaning the screen filter. Can I do that without draining the oil?

I can certainly drain the trans and clean the filter. The unit has about 300 hours since the last oil/filter change.

No discernible operating issues.
