Im installing my injection pump on my 370 hp 6bta.
I pinned the motor at tdc and I pinned pump. my pump timing is 24 before tdc
Is the pump at 24 degrees when the pin is in
Do I have to do anything more

My answer is probably too late– Missed this post..

Not easy over the forums–To me, it’s easier to go into the google and look for one the the u-tube videos on this.. ..

Remember, the gear is not keyed, so yes the engine needs to be exact and the pump locked–Then the gear must be pre-seated securelyon the shaft taper using a hammer and socket with a BIG WHAP before the 1st tightening–Then unlock the pump before the final tightening
