    Hi SB crew

I have a 1998 VDO Cummins Oceanline Tachourmeter on the starboard side that was working fine but is now going off scale (over 4000rpm) when I reach around 1000rpm and it then never recovers. I tried a swap test and it is the tacho as it does the same on the left engine.

Is it stuffed or is there an opportunity to recover? I cannot source any replacement for this old tacho…

    Regards

Good link to a company that “lives & breaths” this stuff.. Yes, you are right, cost to repair vs replacement

    Nothing…

I seriously doubt that the gauge is fixable and there’s no way you’ll find a replacement which you already know. Best gauge place to look for gauges is egauges.com
