Hello Don,
I have a need for the same sensor. Can you tell me what model you purchased for that pressure sensor? Mmine fell apart in my hand when I took it off and I cannot read the pressure trip setting.Appreciate the help.

Do you mean that the venerable Rector Seal #5 is not up to this task?
Thanks for the headsup, I don’t need any transmission leaks!
Yea, for this high pressure small thread assembly the RS can leak. If the switch ever needs to come out even with the JB weld a 12mm wrench will break the connection and back the switch right out.

Don, be mindful of the high psi when installing that switch. Likely you will need something more than pipe thread sealant. I use JB Weld on the threads. The switch has the 1/8″npt threads, right?

Looks like a MG506A.
Pressure sensor–See that “T” on the output of the oil pump. Put on the un-used end.. if you use and adapters, use Hyd quality steel fittings

Hope this helps, the tag is really hard to read, pretty sure it says 506.

Post a really good picture of the gear and gear cooler.. Maybe a few from different angles.. An MG 506 is a very OLD gear, good, but OLD…
