    Hi guys.

Look it for some advice. I have a pair of 2004 Cummins 6bta 5.9 370 hp. Strangely I have a notable turbo pipe (between turbo and aftercooler) of 42 degrees as the STBD pipe is at 90 degrees and the port pipe is at 132 degrees when throttles are at 2400 rpm. Any ideas why as both aftercooler where cleaned and « refresh » the port turbo, thinking is was the problem but clearly not.

Hello Tony. Yes in Celsius and yes, before the aftercooler. Went a little further in the investigation as I’ve also took the temperature on the turbo compressor casting and the heat was the same as the pipe between the compressor itself and the aftercooler.

You also also measuring the temp of the air tube BEFORE the aftercooler? Correct?
