Gear oil for Hurth HSW 800 V1 (ZF)

Hi all,

Simple question. I have two Hurth HSW 800 V1 (pre ZF), 1.6 ratio. Which oil is preferred ? Oil is a jungle and manual I have is for the later ZF versions
stating just Dexron II or III.

I can get the “Castrol Transmax Dex III multivehicle” for a good price. Is this a preferred oil for this gearbox ?
