    Twin 6BTA 5.9 370’s, Cpl 1975.

I have Parker 436-8 hoses from my fuel tanks through my Racors and on to the lift pump. These are 3’6″ long between Racors and the lift pump and have an i.d. of 1/2″ (12.5mm).

But the hoses to/from the on-engine fuel filters and the injection pump are Parker 221 FR-8, 4′ 6″ long. This hose has an i.d. of just 13/32″ (10mm).

I need to replace the lines between the on-engine fuel filters and the injection pumps. Should I stick with the 13/32” or increase it to 1/2″?

thanks in advance for your advice

Being after the lift pump that is a pressurized hose, the diameter does not need to be increased. Stick with OEM.
