Excessive Engine Oil Consumption

Hi All,

We have noted that our engin oil consumption is too high, so we have decided to measure its blowby?
My question is how can we troublshoot the BlowBy and is there any other root causes for this matter?

You left a lot of information out of your initial post. You will find short posts get short to no answers so how about filling in the blanks

1. What engine model, year, serial, cpl
2. Hours, maintenance history, salt/fresh water
3. How do you change and fill oil, how many qts do you use
4. Out burn quantity per hours use
5. Smoke at start up? Color?
6. Smoke running? Color?
7. Please post up some pictures of your engine(s) from all angles (left/right, front/back, top/bottom, high/low)

Before you play with blow by testing let’s get the above information and go from there…
