Hi there am I missing finding something on the site , I’m going to purchase a envirovent ccv system for my v drive 250 hp 6bta and I see full install pictures for the direct drive installation that goes to the gear case to the intake. I only see a few install pictures for the v drive installation that goes to the valve cover ?

Thanks for the reply , just had my port engine out for a rebuild havnt really had a chance to break it in hoping it’s ok will no more when I get home Saterday to test it again. As for are quick conversation on the phone yesterday there was too much oil in it and I think the whipping affect was defently happening more then just a little bit. Put the correct oil in or close to it fired it up in my boat house and it sounded better not under load but wont really know until I get it out. I do have the old walker style intakes on both my engines and reading about them on here I dont like what I see. I’ve always noticed a bit of blow by coming from my engines dipstick tube even before rebuild and still now after. My boat is a little stern heavy from the dingy system on the stern and the v drive setup probably always gonna be a bit of whipping going on with my setup I would think due to the way the engines sit. I’ll get some better pics when I get home on the weekend and hopefully can get a better idea of how I’m gonna install the ccv kits tha ks for the reply

Lift your hatch or ? and post a few good pictures of your engine installation. Then, I’ll come back with some pictures of what to do.. V-drive installs are “unique”, so each one needs to be looked at that way to make the most of any CCV install. Does your engine produce noticeable blow-by now?
