I have twin 6BTA5.9 Diamond Series engines with 475 hours on them. What’s the top performance (RPM’s) they should deliver?

    Rob,

I’ll get the numbers this weekend as I don’t have them in my office.

    Mark,
Post a serial number so we can be 100% as to ID’ing your engine.

    Thanks

    Thank you.

Mine is topping out at 2900-3000 right now which I guess is the target range. Yes, that’s my engine, 2004.

It was reading this when surveyed before I bought it.

    Best regards,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
Not totally sure about what exact engine you have, but mine is a 6BTA 5.9 L 330hp (2002 Diamond Series) and it is rated at 2800 rpm. You should be able to reach 2900+ rpm at WOT with the boat loaded how you use it and a clean bottom (if that is your engine).
