Recently purchased a 2007 40 Sea Ray with Twin QSB 5.9. The Dieselview screen is actually in good shape however it only shows data from the port engine (engine & fuel). All dash gauges work for both engines. I tried cleaning the terminals for the starboard engine where it plugs into the dieselview but no change.

I’ve been reading through the forums and from what I gather if this was a problem with the connection at the engine my dash gauges would not work either correct? So this must be an issue with the date getting through to the dieselview screen right?

I do not think it’s a problem with the display unit but the only way to tell is to have another unit to swap with. You may try swapping the SIM modules on the engines to see if you can get the issue to switch sides? Also check that the MUS ID jumpers are set correctly… there’s an article on our website on how to do this.

    Hi Corey,

Did a full master reset and set it up for 2 engines and it still only shows data from port engine. either engine switch will power it on but if only the starboard engine no data is shows. Dash gauges work for both engines (fuel, temp, etc). If the dash gauges work then the data is getting up there from the engine right? So it must either be an actual dieselview connection issue or an issue with the actual display module?

    Master Reset

Lookup how to perform a “master reset” for the DieselView on Google… then re-configure the display to read TWO engines via the initial configuration screen.

    Start there…
