    Hello:
Does anyone know if i can take the turbo of a Cummins 5.9Bt and make it naturally aspirated ? I am looking for a 5.9 B N/A 120 HP @ 2800 Rpm, 12 V , mechanical fuel injection pump . If i do take the turbo it will affect the engine , do i need to recalibrate the pump? My mechanic is telling me it will be ok.
    Thanks John

Removing the turbo can be done, but the real answer in how “right” to you want to do it, and what exactly is what are your wanting to accomplish and why?

If you are looking for limit the HP output of the engine at WOT to 120 or so at 2200-2500 RPM, it is much better and easier to do other ways..
