Have new problem with my Tiara’s Cummins and need your help – when using boat after a week or ten days port engine reluctant to get to normal rpms. Usually, strd engine way ahead reaching cruising rpms of 2200 without delay but port engine gets stuck around 1500-1600 and it takes a few minutes to get it past it. Feels almost as if strd engine is pulling the port engine past the restriction. Curiously, after the initial run, the problem virtually disappears or at the very least, appears to be greatly reduced although it never goes away completely. Incidentlly, bottom is clean and props are ok.

Local mechanic suggested a problem with the turbo charger but same seems to be ok – blades are from, no contact with frame, no oil or anything abnormal. Could it be fuel problems or injectors?

    Thanks for any ideas/suggestions.
