It has come to the time to replace my raw water intake hose – trident 250 2000 2 inch hose, can anyone recommend a different type of hose that is a little easier to work with that is safe? source etc?

    thanks

I will second the spa hose. Mine were installed during the repower at Seaboard in 2000.
I replaced them earlier this year just on principle. They were still in perfect condition after 17 years and 5000 hours. Not the easiest to work with but pretty much indestructible.

Last offseason I redid P&S seawater intakes as well as my genset wet exhaust hoses using Shields 252 Series, Shieldsaust-C Exhaust / Water Hose, Double Wire. Very easy to work with as to bends and clamping. I know Tony is not a big fan and prefers a PVC hose product for intakes but not sure if so when tight bends are involved, if you have…
