Hello all – is there a cable shift bracket that is mountable on my ZF 301 PL gear? If so, any direction on product name or link where to buy is greatly appreciated. Hoping sbmar has something! I’ve attached a picture of the gear, just to make sure I have the model correct. The shift cable in the pic is just sitting limp, it was mounted on a bracket that was attached to that grey bulkhead wall in lower right of picture. I think the right way is to connect a shift bracket on the gear itself, just not sure where to mount it and who makes it, etc… Thanks for any direction.

Thanks for your reply Tony! I’m thinking i’ll need to make something at a machine shop. Unlikely to find anything off the shelf that naturally fits.

That is a super old IRM 301PL, long before ZF redesigned the gears & added a “Valve Block” external shift valve (MB 15) to these gears .. I do not have any pictures of what you need, but it may be similar in fashion to what ZF uses of the ZF220A..Lots of those pics on this website

You’ll need to be a “hands-on clever guy” to sort it out..
