The broken throttle that was overtightened is also misaligned. The new cable was attached by a bolt and locknut. This placed the cable in a bind because of the angles. Any suggestions for a proper repair? The throttle is ordered from you and is properly installed. I need help with attaching the cable with correct hardware.

    Thanks,
    Retired Diesel Instructor

Tony my cable is 10-32, not 1/4 thread

The cable end and all of the cables on this Mainship brand boat have cheap plastic cable ends. Need ball joint in 10-32 or do I need to change cables to 1/4 thread?

    Thanks!

I know you are trying hard with the pictures, but they are so close up I really cannot tell much, nor are they really clear or in-focus..

Get back 12-24″.. High res 100%, no movement with a clean lens, high res and send direct to me..

Plus, you need “ball joints” that allow limited mis-alignment.. This is a 100% must..Toss those plastic ends set them up right……..
