    Great write-up on steering systems!
What grease is recommended for lubricating the ram components via the installed grease nipples?

    Thanks,

    Grease type

Grease Type.. ………………………Any typical all purpose / multi-purpose grease bearing grease, or Marine Trailer Wheel Bearing grease that you can buy at your local auto parts store works great…

If you buy a NON-MOLY EP grease (the stuff that makes it BLACK), you can also safely use it for electrical connections ( like battery terminals, push-on spade and screw-on connections, plugs, etc etc.. …Most all lithium based greases are “di-electric” in lower voltage applications ( under 600V) ……. Would you mind sharing the link on steering rams? I’m not sure if I have read this one before.
