I had a couple of Borel (I think) alarm panels in my boat. I’m looking for a more waterproof solution if possible and was wondering if the ones on this site are?

Most of the panels we sell have the sensitive electronics on the rear of the panels “gooped” with electrical grade doping compound so they are not exposed. The panels seem to hold up very well to the elements…

I have an express, they don’t get very wet but when it’s rough they still get some splashing on them plus one of them failed in a year or so.

I was just all over the Aqualarm and Borel sites. Zero mention on either site as to any waterproof specifications or ratings so I’m thinking it’s all a “no”. Where/How are your panel(s) mounted that you can’t keep them dry? A center console boat or ??

Post a pic of what you have now vs, the ones on the site that you are looking at.. Most of ours are custom made for us by AquaAlarm.. Look them us and see what they say..
