For a 5.9 B. Aftercoolers look same on each of my 2 engines.
Port s/n 46027817 although this aftercooler was replaced with new 2 years ago
    Stbd s/n 60235940

Fat or thin? — each fit. I have each type. What am I looking for here?

    o-ring vs o-rings

    Rob,
    Absolutely correct.
My mistake was searching on o-rings vs o-ring.
    Mea Culpa,
    Mike

A general search on the site doesn’t return the link either.

I pulled the O-Ring ID page link from the main search function simply using “o-ring” as the search term.

    Hard to Find

    Rob,
Your link to the o-ring photo was the solution to my question. I’ve gone to the superior link:
    https://www.sbmar.com/articles/
And this does NOT show or lead to the subordinate link you gave:
    https://www.sbmar.com/articles/cummins-marine-aftercooler-maintenance/

A general search on the site doesn’t return the link either.
In fact, I can’t see the page https://www.sbmar.com/articles/ by browsing without knowing the precise link.

Maybe I just don’t have the skills to have ferreted out the answer myself.

Good idea Mike. A link on that page could be helpful. I’ll mention it to Corey..

    Rob,
    Perfect!
    Thanks.
Now, it would be great if Tony caused that picture to be added to:

Look at the inside of the cap – the bevel to hole spacing – see attached.

    still have problem

I disassembled a week or so ago and discarded old o-rings. Don’t trust my week old memory. I have new thin and fat on hand.
    Which to use?

Order from this site. You get both. Match to what you have in place. Mine were the thin ones.
