    Hi all,

new to the site, very impressive and thanks to Tony and his team for the volume and presentation of information, without doubt the best I’ve come across.

My question, am appraising a boat with Cummins as per the title. One of the engines has, to my mind, excessive balancer movement. Any ideas please on causes and checks that should be done.

    What exact engine? Rated rpm?
    Age, hours?
Any signs it’s been off and now it’s not seated true?

Something is wrong if you see wobble in the front damper.. Tread lightly until this is sorted out.. Would VIDEO show what you are referring to?

Also, maybe some pics of the overall engine room so I can what the general condition of things..

    Tony
