June 15, 2021 at 8:44 am Hi All, Doing some clean up work on the electrical system and want to change these relays image attached) proactively, for obvious reasons. I went through the store and didn’t see them. Hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have found two on the starboard behind the aftercooler and one on the port forward of the starter. How many are there total, and does anyone have a good PN? Thx in advance! Kevin

May 4, 2021 at 5:06 am Converted QSB 5.9 425hp engines from 24v to 12v three years ago, disconnected alarms because they were constantly on for no apparent reason. All information ( oil pressure , temp , load , etc) was accurate and being displayed. The only code that was showing up was ā€œlow voltage 13.7ā€ . I was informed that I should change the SIM modules on the engines . I changed the SIM modules and the low voltage code was gone however , when I connected the ala…

January 22, 2021 at 8:45 am Thought some may find this handy when flush mounting. Working on a DC project and needed to get this panel mounted in an overlay board. There is very little reveal around the panel perimeter and a lot of in and outs as what needs to be cut in, not simply straight like mounting an MFD or the like. The four corner crew hole placements leave no room for error. The panel has a bit of weight to it so I wanted to be sure to leave as much plywood sur…

January 15, 2021 at 9:28 am I have a 1999 Maxum 4600 SCB with twin 6BTA 5.9M2 Cummins diesel engines. There are two alarms, one port and the other starboard at the helm. October 19, 2020 at 9:19 am I have a bank of three 8D marine batteries and I new charger. The batteries are now 5-6 years old. I seem to be running down my house battery rather quickly. Before I go out and buy new batteries I would like to get more knowledge on this. First what is the best way to test the batteries to see if I do in fact need new batteries? What is the average life of 8Ds? and Do I need to replace them all at once or can I just get one at a time new?

Life expectancy is dependent on how you use (or abuse) them…. Proper watering and your frequency and depth of discharge. You mention that you “seem” to be running them down???
