Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
Is the engine running well? Ā Injector break test done?Ā
It must have overheated radically if it ran clear out of coolant!

February 6, 2022 at 7:00 pm I have the end caps off the heat exchanger and was wondering if the core needs to be removed in one direction? Is the core typically service off engine like the aftercooler with the same Seaboard protocols regarding Alco Metalube, etc.? I looked through the forums but didn’t find a lot of info on the QSC HE servicing. Thanks.

July 11, 2017 at 6:59 am Tony and others… Last fall we purchased a 2011 Grand Banks 41EU with Cummins QSB 5.9 425HP engines and Zeus pods. After bringing her home 2,300 trouble-free miles from Holland Michigan we needed to do some service. On a subsequent trip we had one minor issue that required a call to Cummins of Jacksonville. Their tech came to the boat and fixed the small issue, but I did take advantage of the time we had together to ask his input on an upco…

March 14, 2022 at 8:44 am Noticed a tiny leak from the coolant pump on the port side. Figure I might as well go ahead and change both of them. They seem to be available here for $245, but they are running between $70 and $100 most everywhere else, including Amazon with delivery tomorrow. If the part on this site said SMX, then I would assume it came with some upgrades to help performance/longevity, but it does not say SMX. What am I missing?
