Boost Fitting Locations for B & C Series Marine Diesels

The following images depict the possible boost fitting locations & ports to obtain boost pressure readings from the engine’s intake manifold. Many of the ports can be tapped directly or also can be “tee’d” into if necessary. Typically air brake tubing is used to send the pressure signal to the dash area with a boost gauge in analog applications. In electronic applications, either a resistive type or transducer type senders are used and electrical wires are ran up to the dash to provide boost readings.
